According to 'TheMusic.com.au' I Killed The Prom Queen are back, without their two (popular and missed, might I add) vocalists Michael Crafter and Ed Butcher, but with Jamie Hope, ex-vocalist of The Red Shore. Please tell me, blogging world, wasn't their 'Say Goodbye' tour their farewell tour? How can they be reforming again? Seems they've broken up and gotten back together more often than Kate Moss and Pete Something-scummy-sounding - although they had the good sense to finally bury that romance.Seems that touring is I Killed The Prom Queens equivalent of Charlie Sheens 'milk' (aka drugs, if you haven't seen the TMZ film clip of him talking to a sporting team.)
While I agree that IKTPQ are a great band, if they aren't going to go away and stay away, then stop saying they're going away! I think a band should be allowed ONE comeback per career. Change the name, change the members, change the songs and start a NEW band and try something new, if you're going to come back. Either that, or stay around and NOT convince everyone you've left?
